After many floats there are a few things we've learned to bring... Some will be obvious, others are a less so but all of them will make sure you have a great time on the water!

I've been visiting Longboat Key, Florida every year since I was in water wings. That's because our family has a condo timeshare there and we were lucky enough to head that way during our spring breaks for many years.

Last year, we joined the family for their final few days in Longboat. Since we had to leave the condo on Saturday morning, we decided to extend the trip through Monday and visit Homosassa - a sleepy fishing village north of Tampa. It's about 45 minutes off I-75 and absolutely worth a visit.
